"Year’s End"

 "Year’s End"

Bill & Karen Itzel, Shannon Itzel

You are good when you give, and when You take away

When the sun shines upon me, and in clouded gray

My soul is redeemed, though my flesh is still frail

Your promises, faithful, even when I fail

You love me still And have blessed another year

Though I’ve stumbled along the way

You love me still And have taken all my fear

So I can serve You another day

You’ve led me through valleys, twisting, severe

Your goodness is with me and Your arms hold me near

In the year before me, as in the year past

You guide my journey with love unsurpassed

You love me still And have blessed another year

Though I’ve stumbled along the way

You love me still And have taken all my fear

So I can serve You another day

So whatever He writes in His story is for my good and His glo - ry

You’ve veiled my eyes to the path ahead

Let me trust You in all and never to dread

Temptation won’t drown me, and if death be my lot

I will see Your face sooner, oh blessed the thought

You love me still And have blessed another year

Though I’ve stumbled along the way

You love me still And have taken all my fear

So I can serve You another day

You love me still And have blessed another year

Though I’ve stumbled along the way

You love me still And have taken all my fear

So I can serve You another day

You are good when you give, and when You take away

When the sun shines upon me, and in clouded gray

Bible Verses

For the director of music. Of David. A psalm.   1  You have searched me,  Lord ,      and you know me.   2  You know when I sit and when I rise;      you perceive my thoughts from afar.   3  You discern my going out and my lying down;      you are familiar with all my ways.   4  Before a word is on my tongue      you,  Lord , know it completely.   5  You hem me in behind and before,      and you lay your hand upon me.   6  Such knowledge is too wonderful for me,      too lofty for me to attain.   7  Where can I go from your Spirit?      Where can I flee from your presence?   8  If I go up to the heavens, you are there;      if I make my bed in the depths, you are there.   9  If I rise on the ...
