"Hard Times Prelude"

                              "Hard Times Prelude"

Jason Gray

I was made in the hard times

That pain is a goldmine

It'll make a poor fool wise

It get real in the hard times

It hurt bad but I don't mind

That hurt will make a heart kind

I believe that I'm where you want me

I can see from the place you brought me

There's life in the light of what the hard times taught me

Though it didn't go the way I planned it

I learned how to live open handed

In a brand new day with the hard times taught me
