"Worlds Apart"

 "Worlds Apart"

Jars Of Clay

I am the only one to blame

For this

Somehow it all ends up the same

Soaring in the wings of

Selfish pride

I flew too high and like I charus I collide

With a world I try so hard to

Leave behind

To rid myself of all but love,

To give and die

To turn away and not become

Another nail to pierce the skin

Of one who loves

More deeply than the oceans,

More abundant than the fear

Of a world embracing every

Heartache

Can I be the one to sacrifice

Or grip the spear and watch the

Blood and water flow

To love you take my

World apart

To need you I am on my knees

To love you take my

World apart

To need you broken

On my knees

All said and done I stand alone

Amongst remains of a life I

Should not own

It takes all I am not to believe

In the mercy that covers me

Did you really have to die for

Me

All I am for all you are

Because what I need and what I

Believe are world apart

To love you take my

World apart

To need you I am on my knees

To love you take my

World apart

To need you broken

On my knees

Paul’s Hardships 3  We put no stumbling block in anyone’s path, so that our ministry will not be discredited.   4  Rather, as servants of God we commend ourselves in every way: in great endurance; in troubles, hardships and distresses;   5  in beatings, imprisonments and riots; in hard work, sleepless nights and hunger;   6  in purity, understanding, patience and kindness; in the Holy Spirit and in sincere love;   7  in truthful speech and in the power of God; with weapons of righteousness in the right hand and in the left;   8  through glory and dishonor, bad report and good report; genuine, yet regarded as impostors;   9  known, yet regarded as unknown; dying, and yet we live on; beaten, and yet not killed;   10  sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; poor, yet making many rich; having nothing, and yet possessing everything. 11  We have spoken free...
