“Keeping Me Guessing”

 “Keeping Me Guessing”

Francesca Battistelli

Coffee cup waking me up

I’ve got to board a plane

And fly away sometimes

Feels like I’m going to speed of light

Can’t relax I’m moving too fast

I want to find the gold but I don’t have a map

I wish that I could know what You’ve got in store for me

I try and try

To read Your mind

But I forget that patience is a virtue

You’re teaching me to hold on tight

And I don’t know how the story ends

But I’ll be alright

‘cause You wrote it

I don’t know where the highway bends

But I’m doing just fine

‘cause You’re in control

Even when I don’t know

Where my life’s gonna go

You’re keeping me guessing

So slow me down

Show me around

I want to see the world

That I’ve been without

I am here and now

The future is out of my hands

I’m trusting You

And how You move

I won’t forget that patience is a virtue

You’re teaching me to hold on tight

And I don’t know how the story ends

But I’ll be alright

‘cause You wrote it

I don’t know where the highway bends

But I’m doing just fine

‘cause You’re in control

Even when I don’t know

Where my life’s gonna go

You’re keeping me guessing

Seasons go

But You decide

And I don’t know how the story ends

But I’ll be alright

‘cause You wrote it

I don’t know where the highway bends

But I’m doing just fine

‘cause You’re in control

Even when I don’t know

Where my life’s gonna go

You’re keeping me guessing

Bible Verses

For the director of music. Of David. A psalm.   1  You have searched me,  Lord ,      and you know me.   2  You know when I sit and when I rise;      you perceive my thoughts from afar.   3  You discern my going out and my lying down;      you are familiar with all my ways.   4  Before a word is on my tongue      you,  Lord , know it completely.   5  You hem me in behind and before,      and you lay your hand upon me.   6  Such knowledge is too wonderful for me,      too lofty for me to attain.   7  Where can I go from your Spirit?      Where can I flee from your presence?   8  If I go up to the heavens, you are there;      if I make my bed in the depths, you are there.   9  If I rise on the ...
