"Million Miles Away"

"Million Miles Away"

We Are Messengers

I don't know where I'm going

And I don't know who I am

And if I stop running

Will the walls come crashing in

But my heart is sick and tried

Of just getting along

And like everybody else I'm

Not sure where I belong

I'm not sure what I've been chasing

I'm not sure that I can face it

I need someone to hold me

Some help to come my way

Cause sometimes the weight of being me

Is more than I can take

And I need someone to love me

Some help to come my way

'cause sometimes heaven

A million miles

A million miles away

'cause I'm just trying to find a rhythm

Some life in these bones

And keep my head above the water

'cause I'm sinking like a stone

When the highs all feel like lows

I need someone to hold me

Some help to come my way

Cause sometimes the weight of being me

Is more than I can take

And I need someone to love me

Some help to come my way

'cause sometimes heaven

A million miles

A million miles away

'cause my heart is sick and tired

Of just getting along

And like everybody else I'm

Not sure where I belong

The night's been getting cold

Seems like the end of the road

And I feel the weight of time

And all I know is

I need someone to hold me

Some help to come my way

Cause sometimes the weight of being me

Is more than I can take

And I need someone to love me

Some help to come my way

'cause sometimes heaven

A million miles

A million miles away

Bible Verses

For the director of music. Of David. A psalm.   1  You have searched me,  Lord ,      and you know me.   2  You know when I sit and when I rise;      you perceive my thoughts from afar.   3  You discern my going out and my lying down;      you are familiar with all my ways.   4  Before a word is on my tongue      you,  Lord , know it completely.   5  You hem me in behind and before,      and you lay your hand upon me.   6  Such knowledge is too wonderful for me,      too lofty for me to attain.   7  Where can I go from your Spirit?      Where can I flee from your presence?   8  If I go up to the heavens, you are there;      if I make my bed in the depths, you are there.   9  If I rise on the ...
